What are the Green Juicing benefits? Well as we all know, our intake of vegetables is far from the recommended daily amount. It is also known that we should have an intake of raw vegetables.

We eat raw vegetables by making it into salads. The question is, how much vegetables can you consume by eating salads? Not much right? This is the point where green juicing comes in. You can consume the recommended nutrients from raw vegetables in one setting without having to chew for hours.

I normally juice ten cucumbers, five carrots and at least ten stalks of assorted leafy vegetables. If you eat these as a salad, you can never finish chewing this in two hours plus there is no way you can consume all if this as this is too much for your stomach to take.

I will not talk about the scientific aspect of green juicing or from a nutritionist standpoint. I am here to talk about my experiences why I started green juicing.

I was a very unhealthy person and both my parents died of cancer. There was a time when I rely heavily on food supplements. I have tried a lot of those. It did give me some positive results, but there are side effects.  I have skin patches which will disappear when I discontinue the use of supplements.

The first result I discovered with green juicing is how easy it is to move my bowels. My bowels are smooth, and I have researched about this topic it is the ideal bowel I should have. The next thing I noticed is the size of my tummy decreases more so in the spot where the colon is. Through my research, I learned that my colon is flushed of old junk that’s been there for years.

I start to lose weight, and my skin is glowing like I never did. If you guys ask me to show some pictures as proof of the positive results, sorry I will not because I don’t need to. The picture I have on my about me is taken before I started green juicing. You can see that my tummy is jutting out. Uggghhh.

There you go, just do it. If you do not see improvements, just come back to and tell me I am a liar. If you think my simple advice is good, then go ahead and help yourself from living an unhealthy lifestyle.

The taste? Well, I like vegetables, so it is no problem to me.  For those who hates vegetables just remember that everything is acquired taste. Since we were kids, we are accustomed to the idea that fried and sweet foods are only ones that are tasty. You may not like the taste of the green juice at first, but later on, you will be used to it.

This is the equipment I am using. I used to have the  Champion Juicer, and I think it is one of the best juicers in the market, but it is already outdated. I also do not like the way it masticated the vegetables. It has a blade on it which is a little hard to clean. I switch to Omega 8004, the most popular model. Then I upgraded when  Omega has a newer model which is a better upgrade than the Omega 8004. It is the Omega NC800HDS which is a fifth generation juicer they have. I love this model as it has a bigger tube for the produce to go in, so you do not have to cut it in small pieces. All the plastic parts are Certified BPA-free. The nozzle is also adjustable for better juice extraction unlike the Omega 8004 which is fixed. So far this is the juicer that suits me.
